The AuSable River Canoe Marathon has a long and rich history, and statistics and records have been an important part of that history. Between 1975 and 2011, it was the hobby of John Cook to research and record the race’s history. Since 2011, Ryan Matthews has taken over the stat and recordkeeping duties.
