I am a hard working, athletic individual. I used to compete in distance
running races, made states in high school. Currently I play hockey and
keep active in other sporting activities. I have no canoe to race in,
but if I could find a partner who has one or I would have to find one for
sale. My wife’s parents have a place on the AuSable river in Mio, we
could easily practice there, or anywhere. I am excited to compete in
this event, I realize that it is a huge race to take on, but it is something
I have wanted to do for years and after seeing this years race I can’t
get it out of my system. I am willing to do what it takes to train and
be competitive for this race.
