	July 1, 2009 Dear Media Representative, On behalf of the volunteer committee of the Weyerhaeuser AuSable River Canoe Marathon, we welcome you to our 62nd Annual Race. We truly appreciate the media exposure you provide and hope you will enjoy this year’s race. Everything you should need is on the website and it has all of the most current information on it. If you are coming to the race this year, you will receive a media kit that contains a program book, entry list and all the press releases. You will need the parking pass and media badge to get into some of the areas. Over 80 teams from 14 states and 3 provinces of Canada will be entered in the Marathon. The thrilling lemans style run to the river starts at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday night in Grayling with the teams getting to their first portage at Mio dam around 1:00 a.m. on Sunday.
